Singer-songwriter Matsutoya Yumi's 38th original album "Uchuu Toshokan" has sold about 57,000 copies. It has gotten first place on the Oricon album charts. This means that Matsutoya Yumi, who is currently 62 years old, is now the record holder for the oldest solo female artist to get a first place album.

While Matsutoya is the oldest solo female artist, Oda Kazumasa took the record as the oldest male artist earlier this year.

Matsutoya will also be holding a tour starting November 18th.
