Indie idol Tomita Mayu has regained consciousness
20 year old indie idol Tomita Mayu, attacked by 27 year old Iwazaki Tomohiro on May 22, has reportedly regained consciousness as of June 7.
Tomita's friend, AKB48's Tanabe Miku, reported on the good news via social media. Model LUY, who costarred in a musical with Tomita, wrote "Great joy" on twitter following the news.
The suspect, Iwazaki Tomohiro, reportedly stalked and attacked Tomita on May 22. He is currently being charged with attempted murder and a violation of the Swords and Firearms Control Law.
