Higashiyama Noriyuki to reprise role in "Keiji 7-nin" sequel
Actor Higashiyama Noriyuki (49) will be starring in the upcoming sequel of last year's "Keiji 7-nin". Alongside Higashiyama, Kitaoji Kinya, Takashima Masahiro, Kataoka Ainosuke, Suzuki Kosuke, Kurashina Kana, and Yoshida Kotaro will also be returning.
"Keiji 7-nin" surrounded Amagi Yu (Higashiyama) who is resigned to the 12th section of the 1st investigation division, a place called the graveyard of detectives. He begins to work alongside the others assigned to the section, utilizing their different areas of expertise despite their issues with each other.
In the second season, the original group has been shifted to other areas and work alongside other teams. Only Nagasawa Keita (Suzuki) and Mizuki Tamaki (Kurashina) remain in Section 12. They are active in each of their posts, but come together to solve crimes as part of the police departments "Betsudo Investigation Team" tackling a new type of crime.
