"Doctor X" to get SP, Inoo Kei cast
Yonekura Ryoko will be reprising her role as the "Doctor X" protagonist Daimon Michiko, the freelance doctor who hates authority and is a genius surgeon.
Several familiar characters will be making an appearance as several actors will also be reprising their roles. Uchida Yuki, Aoki Munetaka, Endo Kenichi, Kishibe Ittoku, Katsumura Masanobu, Suzuki Kosuke, and Nishida Toshiyuki are just some of the returning actors.
Hey! Say! JUMP member Inoo Kei has been announced as a cast member. He will be playing figure skating medalist Himuro Kojiro. This will also be the first time that he will be costarring with Yonekura Ryoko.
Inoo's character, Himuro, is a figure skater who suddenly vomits blood and collapses at the ice rink.
"Doctor X" has been a popular series since it's first season aired in 2012. The drama got 19.1% viewer ratings after it's 8 episodes aired. The second season did even better, it aired over 9 weeks and got a 23.0% ratings. The third season, while it got less viewership ratings, aired a total of 11 episodes for an average of 22.9%. However, it's final episode had a rating of 27.4%.
