Ichihara Hayato and Kuriyama Chiaki cast in "Fukigen na Kajitsu"
Hayashi Mariko's "Fukigen na Kajitsu", which was released from November 23, 1995 until June 27, 1996, will be getting a live action drama adaptation. Kuriyama Chiaki will be starring in the drama alongside Ichihara Hayato. The story revolves around the affair between a housewife and a music critic. The story of the novel will be changed slightly to fit 2016.
Kuriyama Chiaki will be playing housewife Mizukoshi Mayako, a woman who have been married for five years. She has grown frustrated with her husband who doesn't see her as a woman. She goes day by day worrying endlessly. One day, the passionate music critic Kudo Michihiko (Ichihara) appears.
The drama will air from April on TV Asahi.
