Kanjani 8's Shibutani Subaru's cover album to contain covers of Utada, Southern All Stars
Kanjani 8 member Shibutani Subaru will be covering masterpieces of various Japanese artists in his upcoming solo album, "Uta", set to be release February 10.
Shibutani had a solo debut earlier this year when he release his singles "Kioku/Kokoro Odoreba" in February. The single was release the same month as the film "Misono Universe" in which he played the amnesiac hero.
The songs covered include RC Succession's "Slow Ballad", Utada Hikaru's "First Love", and Southern All Stars' "Manpi no G★SPOT". A total of eight songs will be included in the album.
