Popular film series "Resident Evil" starring Milla Jovovich has cast model Rola in the role of a female warrior.
The movie series "Resident Evil" started in 2002 based off the popular game series. The previous film in the series, "Resident Evil 5: Retribution", was released in 2012 and was a worldwide smash hit.
The character that Rola plays is a woman who fights alongside the main character, Alice, against the horde of undead and biohazards following the spill of the T-virus in the United States. Rola commented "I've been practicing English and acting a lot, so I'm really glad to be able to achieve my dream of acting in a Hollywood movie."
The producer of the film commented "She has a strong personality and is a beauty. She's a woman with a strong will. She's the perfect person to play Cobalt."
Rola will begin filming in South Africa's Johannesburg and Cape Town from September.
The filming was previously postponed when Milla announced she was pregnant with her second child.
"Resident Evil 6: The Final Chapter" is set to be released in Japan on January 2017.
