[Oricon] EXILE has 16th first place album
EXILE, who released their first original album in 3 years and 3 months on March 25, has sold 204,000 copies and hit number one on the album charts.
This is the 16th consecutive number one the popular group has had. They have exceeded Mr Children's previous record of 15 consecutive number ones. They are currently tied for second place with Kinki Kids with first place being B'z with 27 consecutive number ones.
This is EXIlE first work since becoming a 19 member group following the retirement of HIRO as performer and leader. The deluxe edition of the album includes document videos including the "EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION".
