Nogizaka46 hit with a second scandal as Yamato Rina's contract is terminated
Yamato Rina (20) has announced that her activities as a Nogizaka member are now complete.
As announced on the Nogizaka official site on the 16th, their exclusive contract with Yamato and her activities with Nogizaka has come to an end as of December 15th. A message saying "All of the fans that cheered me on until now, thank you" was posted to the site.
While the reasons for the contract termination isn't specified, she was reportedly dating men in November and was caught by a weekly magazine in October reportedly drinking underage as she was pictured leaving a bar. This is believed to have led to her contract termination.
On her blog, Yamato wrote "I'm full of regrets and I'm sorry that it has come to an end in this way" in a post apologizing. To her members, she wrote "I'm very sorry everyone. And thank you."
Yamato joined Nogizaka46 in 2011. She was one of the members selected to sing "Natsu no Free & Easy." She was also absent for December 12th "Under Live Second Season Final!" held in Tokyo's Ariaka Coliseum.
