Getting Caught In the Rain...
Tuesday, August 2nd: Oh, I forgot to mention that I finally got around to clearing out my cubicle on Monday, lol. My work area was overflowing with tapes. Laura helped me take the boxes (4 in all) down to shipping. Those boxes are pretty heavy, sheesh. Anyway, talked to Sarah briefly. Haha, she's so crazy. Hmm. So nothing too exciting to say when I was at work. Nice and quiet again so I left at 4. Sarah and Jillian came over for our customary movie night. Before Sarah got there, Jill and I talked about the uncertainties that lie in our future. I was kinda freaking out about not being able to get into Pharmacy school, *sigh*. Then Sarah joined in and we kinda were in a glum mood for a bit. Decided to get on with the movie--Ice Age. Oh, man! I love that movie. I think it grows on me the more I see it. Updated after that and stayed up until midnight for no good reason.
Aug. 3, 2005, Wed.: Only finished one log because I didn't feel like being productive. I was having fun shooting e-mails back and forth with Andrea and Sharla. They are amusing! Andrea wanted a specific tape but I had already given Sharla my backup so she replied that she'd tie Sharla up and steal it from her, haha. The weather turned nasty as the day progressed. By the time it was time to go home, it was downpouring. I am infintely grateful that Gainey lent me an umbrella lying around in the office since I didn't bring one. Despite having the umbrella, my jeans got soaked because of the wind. Oy, I cannot stand being in wet jeans. While waiting for the bus, this guy starts talking to me about his son being in Japan (he brought it up because he thought I was Japanese) and whatnot...I was amiable even though I sure as hell didn't feel like it. Then he went on to talk about Bruce Lee...uh...riight. He almost missed his bus because he was so into what he was telling me, lol. Then another dude chatted with me on the bus. Not in a creepy way, though. Just small talk about work and school...got home and changed into some dry clothes. Kicked back and updated but LJ ate it, that gluttonous jerk. So I jut redid it then off to Dreamland.
