Shawty At a Hotel Party
Viernes, the 29th: Whoa. I completed three logs. I rule. Haha...mostly because I HAD to before the weekend began. Monday's spot check is always 3+ pages, gosh. Definitely stayed until 5:30 so I could finish everything. I spoke with Sarah on the phone...hadn't talked to her for awhile so I decided to hit her up. We made plans for dinner. Teo briefly talked to me. I know he's the definition of busy, but I really appreciate it when he drops a line at least. So yay for that. Told him about my weekend plans. I went to go load Sunday and Monday's logs in NOVA...Kris was in there. He's good-humored, hehe. Always giving me shit ;P. He pretends to be all exasperated when I ask him to do a log change or for help. At one point, he told me to get the fuck out. Isn't he great? Haha, but no. He's one of my favorites. Too bad he's on paternity leave now. :( I hope I get to see him before I have to say goodbye to Comcast. All right, so...got home around 7:30 and barely saw Mom. She was waiting at the bus stop because she had to go in for work on her day off. Sadness. I just freshened up a bit before Sarah and I got food. First, we tried Cici's Pizza (I was craving pizza!) but that was too much of a hassle since it was cash only--so we headed to Woody's. Mm...it was really good...a heap of toppings. I even ate the mushrooms and we know how much I despise mushrooms. Anyway, Sarah and I had a good conversation about insecurities and my bad habit, lol. Hmm...got home and caught up with Jazzy for a good while. She got a job! *Cheers* Whoa--Mike IM'ed me. Umm..yeah, don't really want to talk about that. He just needed to know a few things for closure. *Sigh* I have no clue when things between us will be back to a good status.
Saturday, July 30th: Slept in until about 10 then Dad and I went to Safeway (holy crap you guys--I got SIX boxes of Oh's....haha, yeah. I am a loser). Hey, I gotta stock up for school and might as well get a lot while my dad is paying! Lol. Deposited like $800 and got out $100 to pay the parents back. Took advantage of the free cookies by eating 3, haha. Jason came home this weekend. Spent all day having a computer fixing party, haha. He was trying to install wireless onto my desktop while I uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless on my laptop. Yay! Success...after a bunch of trouble, I now get wireless on my crappy desktop (ME is so retarded). Also, now I can log into my account and no sporadic crashing! I like when things work the way they are intended to, heh. I talked to Jill for a tad. Made some pre-party plans so I got ready. I tried to look decent, lol. I got to wear my pearls! Jill picked me up. Went to Bed Bath & Beyond so she could take a look at bedding sets. I am definitely just going to use mine from last year. Sat down at Wendy's (btw...they didn't have change for a $20! What the hell?) and ate some dinner. Jillian and I discussed something that was really irking me. Hmm...Target was next. We were just looking at makeup (yay! Got more perfume and green eyeshadow, heck yes!) when this guy comes to talk to us...he was a salesman trying to sell us magazines. Of course, he chatted for awhile before getting to the point. His partner thought Jill was like 19 or 20 (rightfully so) but thought I was 20 or 21! He thought I was older than Jillian?! No way! Musta been the pearls or something. I was kinda gleeful since I never am mistaken for being older...except maybe twice. Anyway, when we told him we weren't interested in buying magazines, he like abruptly walked away. What a rude salesman.
We headed over to Sarah's. She got ready while Jillian and I watched some Will & Grace. I think we all looked pretty hott, lol. Sarah has got such a nice figure! and Jill's got such pretty eyes...hah. Anyway, waited for Matt to get off of work then we went downtown for the hotel party that Andrew was hosting. So Sarah was in a double left turn lane...midway into the turn, she had to stop for pedestrians. An RTD bus was to the right of us and I guess it had made too tight of a left turn and actually slightly hit Sarah's car. This guy was really nice and said he'd be a witness. The bus driver would have lost his job if Sarah reported it but she figured there wasn't enough damage to get the police involved so she let him go. The party was okay. I drank half a beer (Bass...remind me that I don't like it, lol), a Smirnoff Ice and a half, and a cosmo. Haha, Colin said like one thing to me and I automatically didn't want to talk to him for the rest of the night. Met Saadat...or Saadakt....I don't know. She was cool...really drunkely bonded with Katie, lol. She was really awesome! I spent a long time talking to Matt about this and that. Sarah suggested I go mingle, hehe. I took it as she wanted her boyfriend back so I left him alone. It was crazy...we were talking about different languages and I actually was able to pull some Cantonese out of my ass! Sweet. Sarah drove us back to her house...I was beyond passed out, haha. Don't remember the ride at all! Decided to sleep over at Sarah's long enough so that Jill could sober up.
