Reading comments at patd gives me an ulcer.
So does wanting to write, opening a document and then staring blankly before deciding to chuck it.

I've read this twice and will likely read it four more times before tomorrow. Spencer is 17 and Joe fails at resisting his adorable face and hips and 17-ness. I have a serious thing for stories where the sex scene isn't "have some sex than fall asleep" or "have some sex the end". I love the sex scenes where there's build up, then coming down, then more build up and it's all at once frantic and lazy and slow and fast and this is all of that done better than I've seen. Basically, I like lots of sex. Seriously, never thought all that much about the pairing, but if they keep this up I'll be all "JON WHO" and I really, really can't have that.

Of all the amazing stories I've read recently, (and I have read just short of a zillion) this is the one I would chose to read over and over and over again and never get tired of. Patrick is 17 and puts an ad on Craigslist, Pete answers, there's some adorable emails back and forth, some adorable im-ing back and forth, some insanely hot phone sex, Patrick being the cutest thing ever in all his insecurities and Pete being the most perfect potential boyfriend ever.

I wish I'd written this. It's sort of angsty but so beautiful and quiet and heartbreaking and both Spencer and Jon are so perfectly imperfect and the kisses are gorgeous and the tone is just a little sad, a little hopeful and I felt like I was holding my breath through the whole thing. This is how I want my Jon/Spencer. Just like this.

This is 29,000+ words of OMG. It's Patrick and Pete getting together and it's fumbling and awkward and beautiful and hot and heartbreaking. My favorite thing in this fandom to read is LONG, getting-together fic, with the perfect, slow build up and coming together and this does that so unbelievably well.
