Tough
Faith/Elle
Buffy/Heroes crossover
340 words, r
They caught her last night, in the middle of a cemetery. Her file says she's got super strength and accelerated healing, but from the state of her now, Elle's not sure she's anything but a girl, unconscious on the bed with a black-and-blue face.
Her fingers spark as she brushes a hand over Faith's hair, gently trying to ruse her. Daddy said this one was special, this one was all hers. Faith's her first by herself, and she's not going to screw it up.
Except she is, because the moment the sparks touch Faith's skin, her eyes flash open and she's off the bed pinning Elle against the cold grey wall.
"Who are you? What is this?"
Elle can't say anything, can't do anything but stare into the brown pools burning for an answer. Her hands spark almost uncontrollably, and its then that Faith notices.
"You're special too, huh? Not quite like me, but still special. It's wicked, huh? The things you can do, the power you have that no one can take from you, you can do anything with?" She smiles. "I bet there's so much more fun things you could do with that power than terrorize little ole' me, don't you?" She grabs one of Elle's sparking hands, pulls it to her chest. "Like this."
Elle's eyes go wide, feels Faith's nipples arouse under her fingertips. She focuses on controlling the power, sending pulsing currents alternating from strong to weak. Faith moans under her hands, and Elle can feel her body warming up to the sound. She's watching Faith with big blue eyes, currents coming left and right out of both hands now, rubbing and moving up and down Faith's body, and she supposes she shouldn't be surprised as Faith leans in and kisses her, fierce and fiery, just as electrical as her powers. "See? You just go with the flow and everything works out."
Panting, Elle nods. Somewhere she knows this isn't what Daddy meant by taking care of problems, but she knows she doesn't care right now.
If You Could Only See
Dean/Inara
Supernatural/Firefly crossover
218 words, pg13
They spend an hour comparing storms sheltered; a day counting who'd been to more places, and almost a week in their own little world. Dean would show her scars, souvenirs from creatures she wasn't sure she believed existed, even with Dean Winchester in the flesh insisting they were real and she should watch out for them. In return, she showed him trinkets from several worlds, Sihnon, Ariel, Bellerophon, a scar received during Companion training, but most of her souvenirs were internal. Dean understood this, more than anyone she's sure she's ever met.
He understood when he wrapped his arms around her in her luxurious bed, more fabric than he'd ever seen in his life. He understood as he kissed her, as she arched up to meet his body with hers.
She knows he's not hers, knows he'll never stay, just as she can't stay, but she can't help but whisper "I love you" three days into the week in between moaning his name and rolling her eyes into her head. She's not surprised when he leaves a day later, taking the miniature silver umbrella from Persephone with him as a token.
Seems the road less traveled
Shows happiness unraveled
And you got to take a little dirt
To keep what you love
Thats what you gotta do
