Thirsty... Thursty... Thursday
So I was on my way to the temp agency and Nettalas called me. She was going to be in town that night and wanted to know if me and Steph wanted to get together with her. So the 3 of us met up at Flaherty's. It was a fun time. I called Danny an alcoholic moron about 3 times... i was amused by it. As closing time drew nearer J and Steph decided that we should go to Denny's afterwards. I really wasn't in the mood to drive all the way out to Oak Brook just for crappy food. They were pretty much trying to keep me from using any idea on why not to go. I knew since the same thing happened the last time J came out, no matter what I said they wouldn't believe me. Then they decided to change their plans to going to Steak N Shake cuz it's out by me. Then Danny, though I had insulted him, asked me if I was going to White Castle with them. Steph and J left and I told them I'd call them if I was going to come up there. Brian was counting something in the register so I was waiting on him to finish so I could say buy. He walked buy and patted me on the should and kept walking. When he walked back buy he told me they were closed and I had to get going. He decided that the best way to do so was to grab me around my knees and carry me to the door. It was cute... He put me down and was talking to the last couple in the bar and I was waiting to say bye still. Mary kicked us both out and said she could close up on her own. He walked me to my car, I walked him to his truck and 4 1/2 hrs later I got home. I found out that Dick, one of the Lombard trustees, asked Brian if him and his girlfriend were serious. Brian asked him what girlfriend (you'd think that it self would answer the question...). He told Brian that he was talking about the blonde he sees him with all the time. He just kinda chuckled a little and said "uh no, we're not really serious, we're not really dating". And I didn't think Lombard was that small of a town... But hey, you can do things on Main Street at 2am on a Friday morning and have no one be the wiser... You'd be suprised :-D **wink wink**
