"I want to see the dorms. Are they like in Dead Poets Society? That's such a cool movie and this place is totally like that, right? I keep waiting for Robin Williams to jump out and jump up onto a table with life affirmations to get me through puberty," Mike said with an eager grin. "Can we see the dorms, or are they only open at a certain time of day? Come on guys, fill us in!"

He hesitated for a moment and gave his hand a bit a wave, pointing at Kurt and Blaine. "I mean, if you can spare us a few moments of your time in your, uh, extremely pressing matters at hand. But I gotta ask, considering we are from McKinley... people are okay with you guys and PDA here and all? Which is way cool. You just... Kurt, you seem so much more at ease here. Other than your awesome dance at prom at the end, you guys seemed sort of scared to even stand close. When all the other couples were slow dancing, you just stood off to the side and watched." Hopefully he wasn't rousing a touchy subject. Hew as genuinely curious how accepting Dalton was and if he could easily feel at home here rather than needing to be wallpaper in a vortex of people vying for attention.

Kurt sat up properly then and stood up, brushing off his pants and then holding his hands out to Blaine to help him up too. He was smirking in amusement to himself at Mike's mixture of enthusiasm about Dalton, but also the obvious hesitancy and anxiety about the new world. "That's because McKinley is full of homophobic assholes who are just sheep and think it's cool to copy the tough guys in their hate. Neither of us wanted to fuel the fire, but it didn't matter. They were out to cause us pain, and they succeeded." Once Blaine was up beside him, he turned his boyfriend's face towards their friends and pointed to the sutures. "If only they just stuck to slurs about homos and fags. Dalton is nothing like McKinley, and this is just one of many ways. No one is judging on PDA, whether you're gay, straight or in between. It's nice to feel normal."

He preened Blaine a little, brushing his shoulder affectionately and fixing his tie. "As to the dorms, you can go there whenever you need. Need being the operative word. You have to have a reason or you'll get detention for loitering in the day. Out of class hours, it's free reign. Some classes got cancelled this afternoon because of a fumigation problem in some of the classrooms. What were you guys supposed to have?"

Blaine's just closed his eyes with a mixture of long-suffering and tiredness as Kurt turned his head. He was ready to just cut his losses on that whole thing. He knew Kurt still had friends at McKinley, but Blaine didn't care if he never went there again right now. It scared the shit out of him getting hit after the prom, just like he had been terrified of. But at least he had been able to protect Kurt and prevent the same happening to him. That's all he cared about.

He didn't even bat an eyelid when Kurt started preening him. It was just one of those Kurt things, yet another way to show him affection. "I can't believe I Have a room mate. Just when I was getting used to having the room all to myself to snuggle my boyfriend into at night for naughty business," he joked, and threw Puck a smirk. "You better not snore, dude."

Puck glanced down at his schedule. "Um... Spanish, then Chemistry, then Algebra..." he said, glancing at Kurt. "Am I lucky enough not to have class my first day?" he asked with a grin.

"Dude, if you're gonna be banging in our room, just let me know and I'll steer clear," Puck said, a smirk on his face. "Far be it from me to keep a man from getting laid." He paused briefly and added, "And I don't snore. Unless I'm really sick."

Mike dug his own schedule out of his pocket and unfolded it. "Same, but I've got Music instead of Spanish. Uh, why are they fumigating? It's not a flesh-eating virus, is it?" he asked uncertainly, looking up at the ornate buildings that were Dalton Academy.

He waited while Kurt and Blaine did their little couple things and smirked at them, but started to follow along beside them after they gathered their stuff up and began to make their way back up to the school. He couldn't help but keep glancing at Kurt and Blaine curiously as they walked. It was nice to see after the ordeal of the prom. Mike remembered feeling like his ass had dropped out of him when Finn had come to tell them Blaine had been hit in the school carpark and he was taken to the ER. It was horrible. But Dalton was a safehaven, and Kurt actually looked at ease here with his other half. Nope, Mike didn't regret his decision at all. "So, how do we get into the Warblers? Do we have to shave our eyebrows and dress up like a giant canary for a week? Is there, like, initiation or something?"

"You might still need to go to Chemistry, because labs are on the other side of the school. The rest are in the west wing classrooms, so they're probably cancelled. There's a list of cancelled classes posted in the foyer in near the staircase." Kurt paused, shooting Blaine a sappy smile and grabbing his hand to swing it back and forth happily. "The staircase where we met..." he added pointedly, gazing at his boyfriend lovingly as they walked.

At least, until he nearly tripped over a tree root, but was saved from that faux pas by Blaine quickly tugging him up against himself to he automatically side-stepped the root. "My hero," Kurt laughed and then gave Blaine a quick kiss before they started walking again. "No, no initiation, but it's a pretty rigorous audition process. You guys should pick songs that really showcase your vocals because it's how they decide where you'll fit in the harmonising."

Blaine had just been laughing fondly at Kurt's bubble of romance. It was all about the romance with him. Which is what made him pause and wave his hand a little at Puck's comment. "Uh... no... we... it's not... we're not..." he stammered. Okay, there really was no easy way to confess to a self-professed manwhore that you were still very much a virgin and naughty business between him and Kurt didn't even involve anything below the belts... yet. Instead, he just cleared his throat and glanced away, which is how he saw that Kurt was nearly about to trip over the root.

He grabbed him smoothly, pulling him flush up against him, and then just gave him a smile at the hero comment. They linked their fingers they walked once Kurt was steady on his feet again. "It is pretty rigorous, sure, but it's nothing to worry about. We're always looking for extra members. I can help you with your auditions, but it's going to be a whole new style than New Directions that you guys have to get used to. It's just us an our voices, no flashy outfits, no instruments, not a lot of dancing, even if we do a little. I mean, are you guys going to be okay with that?"

Puck gave Mike a small smile. It was kind of hilarious if he thought about it. He'd once been a bully and tormentor of Kurt's, treating him like crap for being gay. And now, here he was, walking with his bros, and barely even taking notice of the PDA between Kurt and Blaine. As he and Blaine had developed their friendship over the time he'd been with Kurt, Puck had become pretty used to gay PDA, and it didn't even phase him anymore.

"I'm cool with that," Puck said. "I think it'd be nice to sing with a group that actually gives a shit about how they sound... and doesn't wait until the week before sectionals to make a final list of who's singing what. It's bullshit. I'm totally trying out, dude..." He paused, looking around the pretty vast expanse of the grounds. "So... Where do we find chicks?"

Mike put his hand up and scratched the back of his head. "I'm not really the best singer..." he had to offer, feeling self-conscious. "Dancing has always sort of been more my thing. In saying that, being on New Directions, I have an extreme about of experience being background noise, so will that work okay? You guys mostly just have you has lead, right? Then everyone else backs you up? I can do that," he decided with a confident nod, even if his stomach was flip-flopping nervously that he would be the only one not good enough to be a Warbler.

He looked between Kurt and Blaine for a moment, surprised at Blaine's disjointed confession. "You guys aren't doing it? Seriously? Okay, my bad for assuming you were. It's awesome you're waiting. Nothing wrong with that. I mean, I'm still a virgin too," he said with a shrug. "You guys just seem so close and perfect together. That's all."

"Well, that's the beauty about the Warblers," Kurt explained with a smile and gave Mike's arm a soft pat of reassurance. "It's not just one or two good voices trying to outshine everyone else. You work as a team, everyone has their part. Blaine does lead, but there are opportunities for other people to auditions for solos. It's all very fair. It's more subdued and refined than McKinley and New Directions, but don't let that fool you. All the guys here really are just normal guys. And you underestimate yourself, Mike. I've heard you sing. You're good."

He nibbled on his lip, blushing a little at the turn of conversation. He didn't respond at first, but wasn't this the sort of thing guys talked about in groups? Sex and stuff. He glanced hesitantly at Blaine, who seemed a little on the shy side about it too. "It's not been the right time yet," he clarified to Mike with a shrug of his own. "We don't want to just do it for the hell of it. We want it to be special. We're... taking each step at a time. You only get one first time."

Blaine was nodding enthusiastically at Kurt's explanation and gave his boyfriend's hand a squeeze. He looked between Puck and Mike and grinned. "You'll love it, I swear. The guys really are great. And we're still a show choir, we just have a different style. It's true, though. We more function as a team, as a unit, than how it seems New Directions runs. I mean, I don't know for sure. I only know what Kurt has told me, but it seems pretty intense on the whole... lack of fairness things. Your teacher seems to have favourites or something. The Warblers are run by a council. Members elected, and they make the choices. No teachers. Plus, there are three of them. So it's always a fair vote."

"But we still make out. A lot," he felt the need to clarify quickly and with a lot of emphasis. And it was really amazing, and he had been jerking off so much more since he started dating Kurt than he ever had in his whole life, but even that felt better with Kurt to think about and not just random faceless guys, or maybe occasionally Daniel Radcliffe or Orlando Bloom.

"Sounds like the right kinda place for us, then," Puck said firmly. He was seriously ready to get involved in a team that worked as just that: a team. "It'll be cool to be in a group where it's student-led, too. I get really sick of adults telling me what to do all the time. It's alot better when it's a team and we're working that way, you know?"

Yes, Puck was definitely sick of adults telling him what to do, but then again? He always had been. He fell silent for a little while, letting himself chill out. It was nice to be back with his best friend. They really hadn't gotten to spend much time together lately, what with Kurt being back at Dalton and Blaine not making random trips to Lima as often as he used to.

Puck smirked just a little. As resident manslut, he really didn't know all that much about not doing stuff. Still, if Kurt and Blaine could somehow manage not to? More power to them. With a shrug, he said, "Whatever works for you, man... And what works for me is figuring out where the chicks are. You think Mike's roommate'll share the trade secrets with a brother?"

Listening to Kurt and Blaine explain about the Warblers made a lot of sense, and Mike nodded. "It's sounds cool, and seriously, you guys look way awesome. First time we all saw you perform, we were sure you had it in the bag. No bells, no whistles, that means it's all raw talent, and that's intense in a glee comp. Does Dalton have any sort of dance program though? I never even thought to ask. What else do you guys do other than the Warblers and football?"

"So, what's your mailman?" he blatantly asking Blaine with a smirk. The guy was head over for Kurt, and vice-versa. He had to have something that was his proverbial cold shower to get through all the make-out sessions they were having. Teenage guys had no control over certain portions of the anatomy. Unless you wanted to ruin a whole heap of pants, everyone had their mailman to get them through. And then he looked at Puck with a laugh. "Dude, you get to put up with Blaine jerking off on a regular basis when Kurt here gets him all riled up."

Kurt nodded enthusiastically. "They have a drama program which has dance. They have fencing, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, boxing, many arts programs, extracurricular clubs beyond glee. It's really great, it just depends what you're looking to do."

"Mike!" he cried indignantly and shot the Asian dancer a small glare before peeking hesitantly at Blaine. Did he not like being riled up? Was the fact they didn't touch each other like that yet make him a prick-teaser? Maybe it wouldn't do any harm if they... experimented a little. He trusted Blaine implicitly and he knew he was ready for sex yet, but at the same time, Blaine was so damn hot that Kurt had a lot of his own mailman moments lately, but his mailman of choice was Azimio Adams in a g-string. "Blaine doesn't know what the mailman thing is," he finally said hastily.

Blaine was nodding to at Kurt's list. At least, until he reached the boxing part, which just caused Blaine to clear his throat softly and glance up at the school. There were maybe one or two extra-curricular activities Blaine had revealed to Kurt just yet. "And polo. I do fencing and polo... they're pretty cool. But I've done polo for years. My grandfather used to play and it was something he sort of passed on to me before he died. Dalton's pretty heavy on the arts and sports. Kurt told me McKinley is pretty focused on football and cheerleader, but we have a lot more to offer here. They're all great ways to get to know other students too. The curriculum is pretty intense, so it's nice to have stuff to balance that out."

He paused in his walking and looked between the three of them, blinking. "Mailman? Is this, like, a roleplay sort of thing, because I don't think I'm really into anything like that..." Of course, the fantasies about Kurt in tight leather might count, but he wasn't about to verbalise those.

"Boxing?" Puck asked. "That sounds awesome. Lacrosse, too. You guys have some serious sports going on here... I guess I thought Dalton would be some... Some kinda artsy-fartsy place with no sports and shit." He was just a little nervous, though. He had never been the most academic of people, and if the curriculum was that hard? Well, he wasn't sure he could hang with the big boys.

Puck shook his head at Blaine's question. "Nope... Not at all... Mailman is like..." He paused, glancing at Mike. "It's like a cold shower turn off kind of thing... It's called the mailman cuz Finn hit one once when he was learning to drive, and it's what he thinks of to... um... control shit," he said with a smirk. "I mean, I don't really need one, but most dudes do." It was a lie. A complete and utter lie. He totally needed a mailman, but nobody needed to know that.
