First thoughts on 5.20 "The Devil You Know"

Hey,

Wow this season is really amazing! Full of twists and turns! Even knowing the official sypnosis doesn't give you all the clues!

I hope you enjoy my review and I'll be waiting for your own thoughts. :)

Until next time,
alwaysateen :)

Okay so it was scary, full of suspense and hilarious! Eric Johnson was amazing as a demon! I saw him when he was in "Smallville" first season and he was good but tonight he was awesome! Crowley is a hilarious character, scared to died so desperate but very resourceful! He fools around with the boys but he has good intentions, I think, we never know with him... And we understand why Bobby’s making a deal with the ending of this episode; let's just hope the dealer will keep his end of the bargain....

I hope Castiel will be back soon, just to see how he's gonna acted around Crowley... Remind me of Ruby and Anna in the backseat of the Impala, lollll.

So the boys meet up, sort of, with Crowley who knows about their plan to get the remaining of the Horsemen rings and wants in. He doesn’t know where Pestilence, yerk, is but can locate his right side man. He wants Dean to go alone with him and we learn later why he didn’t want Sam anywhere near that guy. He knew the possessed guy from Stanford, rings a bell?

The plan works, not without new bruises and cuts for Dean, and they have this guy tight up but he’s not talking. Crowley has a new plan but brings back a hellhound with him, man I hate those things! Dean must be terrified, in the inside, but handle the situation until Crowley brings back “reinforcement”. The invisible battle was amazing!

They finally gets Pestilence “address”, man I hope they get rid of him soon, and Sam can have his personal vendetta.

Watching this episode made me realised how much the boys are going in different directions:

- Sam toward Hell, even if he wants to change, but with his plan he revealed to Bobby tonight maybe not. I swear I was terrified he wouldn't be able to cross the salt line after his latest kill tonight! One day he won’t be able I’m sure of it!

- Dean toward Heaven, I'm pretty sure he's becoming an angel without even realising it! He made a deal with Castiel last year in Bobby's junk yard when he wanted to stop Sam from killing Lilith. Since then he managed to kill the "wore" that only a servant of Heaven could and killed an angel (Zachariah) which only another angel can, I think. And I’ve got another proof but I’m not revealing it so I’m not selling too much spoiler over here…
