"When the Levee Breaks" review
Here are my thoughts on latest episode.
Finally my thoughts on the latest episode, sorry for the delay...
Wow, what an episode full of twists and turns! Sam had a lot of visitors while he was in the panic room! I was so afraid of the Alistair scene after seeing the preview, but it wasn't so bad. Small Sammy was awesome, as always, what an amazing actor! He was so cool when his eyes turned yellow! Even Mary managed to be creepy. Accepting and being proud of what his youngest son is doing, amazing! We knew it was some way to convince himself he's doing the right thing, but there's some limit!
All the while, Bobby and Dean, but especially Bobby, are starting to have doubts about their intentions for helping Sam. Even Castiel is no help, I really miss the old angel. But we still saw glimpses of him when he's around Dean though... Our favorite hunter as really some effects on him. You could see that he want to tell him more but he's afraid of the consequences. I hope he's gonna find confidence in himself again and trust Dean will all Heaven's secrets, now that Dean as promised his services to them.
Back to Sam, I really felt betrayed by Castiel when he freed Sam from the panic room! What? They needed more enemies in the mix? Or the only way Dean would give himself entirely to the cause would be to protect his baby brother from becoming a member of the other side... Anyway, I really didn't like this playing in the back thing.
And then came Ruby with all her excuses as to why she wasn't around when Sam desperately needed her! She's incredible and he still believes her! She really has him around her little finger! At least, he's hoping to patch things up with his brother when all this adventure is finish.
Dean finds him so easily, I love the way he knows his brother by heart! But he finds Ruby first and Sam stopped him from killing her, damn! I want her dead! I really hope she's a casualty in the finale! The battle between the brothers was awesome but we could see it wasn't fair for Dean because Sam has just had some demon blood and was at full power! I was yelling at him when he tried to strangle his own brother! Wow, when he turned his back on Dean after he told him to never come back, we knew their brotherly bond was finally broken. :( It was building to this all season but it was just incredible to see it with our own eyes! Both actors were amazing through out the episode!
I can't wait for Thursday season finale! Wow, I hope Bobby gonna stay safely home, after giving his piece of mind to Dean, lolll, and not in danger of extinction...
