I do not recall interacting with anyone during the flood, nor you prior to it. Though I do find your apology very... responsible. [If unusual.]

THAT ICON. IS THE BEST. EVER. EVER-EVER. always_thewoman July 29 2010, 07:23:27 UTC
You don't remember the flood? That's a bit of a pity. It wasn't... terrible. For once.

[That is a dirty word 'round these here parts, Data] Ugh. How very dull. Perhaps I'd better delete the entry?

I have no shortage of them. empirical_data July 29 2010, 07:30:43 UTC
Responsibility is not an attribute you would encourage within yourself? I believe there is a difference between being "responsible" and "predictable", if that is your concern.

How can this beeeeeee? Man, I wish I knew Star Trek canon. always_thewoman July 29 2010, 08:11:14 UTC
That's a rather comforting distinction. I just - responsible. It's not a trait I think suits very well.

He regularly pretends to be Sherlock Holmes in the holodeck. Thus I had to comment. empirical_data July 29 2010, 08:14:27 UTC
How would you describe yourself?

Ahaha, that's wonderful! I'm glad you did. :) always_thewoman July 29 2010, 08:32:29 UTC
Passionate. Clever. Adventurous. I don't relish being tied down, and responsibility just smacks of bonds.

How would you describe yourself? Out of curiosity.

[He is a Soong, and being a Soong has to have a certain amount of ego. Even back when he lacked emotion, there was still hints of it. So he can't really be too modest. After all, honesty is honesty.]

... My, you're not shy, are you? So, what do you do? No, let me guess - a detective? It seems like every other warden here is one, after all

I... am rather fond of the violin, myself - purely as a listener. I should enjoy hearing you play some time, if you'd allow me to.

I have no fault with the occupation, but I am not. I am a Starfleet officer and primarily a scientist.

I would enjoy sharing, madam.

It might behoove you, in this case. This, ah... this would be The Woman.

...The Woman? Are you intimating that she is the woman as in the woman I would most likely be familiar with in a literary sense, or another woman known by a similar moniker?

[He can't quite decide how he wants this question answered.]

That... would be Sir Doyle's Woman, yes. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned it, but given recent conversation, it was difficult to resist. Let's see how well you get on with her, eh?

Ah.

It seems to me that you can occasionally have a very cruel sense of humor, Doctor. However, I find it more safely wielded in your hands than some others I could identify.

Well, I suppose I'll have to make do with that- I've often been accused of far worse, after all.
