How are we supposed to drag "Germans are invading dickheads" out for 1300 words? And anyway, Japan started it!

By using quotations and working your way through the timeline, explaining the motivations of the Germans, the effect of the Treaty of Versailles and Hitler's rise to power.

And I will take that question to mean that you have not, in fact, done your homework.

But Versailles was France, right? Can't I write about the Pacific war instead?

I still have a few hours.

France, Britain and America all signed it. Though Britain was pushing for a fairer treaty, France wanted a harsher one, and America just wanted to let the Germans off. Typical. And no, you cannot write about the Pacific war. Now hurry up.

Then get off the network and onto Word Processor.

Haha, let's hope I do well so you won't end up disappointed.

Also, I'll be dropping by later to kill, and Brooke asked that I bring something to eat, would you like anything in particular?

You very rarely disappoint, so I think I can trust you on that.

Oh! Hm, well I don't particularly mind, I'm not picky about food. Something with noodles would be fine, if it's not a bother.

It'll be done in time, Mr. Kikland.

Che, who cares 'bout what lead to it. Why can't we just write about the fight itself.

Reply

always_tea_time May 31 2010, 21:12:53 UTC
Because it's the circumstances that lead up to the fight that are what history is really about. Though the fights can be interesting, it's a better test of your knowledge to ask about the causes.

Um let's see... Well... their currency was essentially useless and so people were becoming quite frustraticated! And after world war I everyone was trying to... um.. I think the word is reestablish themselves. And then Germany had that gentleman with the terrible mustache come into power and they started invading.

They also made an alliance with Italy and Japan but kept invading more and more people. England didn't invade anyone and in fact tried to stop them from their continuous invasion.

Did I get it right grandfather!

[Gushing harder than the London drainage system on an October evening. This is the only time I will use this icon.] Very well done, Alice! Absolutely fantastic; you pay more attention than most of my class!

I think I would give you an A for that. An excellent summary.
