His expression changes from one of relaxation to one of tension, though, as he twitches and his fingers clutch at the surface he's sleeping on. He stops snoring, the sound replaced by something that almost sounds like whimpering. He starts talking in his sleep, but it's muffled. The word "no" can be made out, though.
As distressed as he might be, the communicator is even more distressed that he's not paying attention to it. Therefore: BZZZZT.
He jerks up, groggily looking around for the source of the shock, but looking relieved all the same. He finds the communicator and reaches for it.]
