08 The Dean's list and Valentine's day

Does anyone know what the Dean was talking about? I guess it's a good list because he said we'd get a prize, but I haven't gotten one yet. Did anyone get their prize yet? If you have it can you let me know? I really want to

[And now to straighten up the place. He had piles of papers everywhere and he's not used to visitors. He should have known better.]

[Gene forces a smile to hide the real reason and having a crush on someone could be a dangerous thing. He only hoped that it wouldn't come to the issue that could bring up his past.]

[He manages to spill his cup of pencils again and now he's starting to stutter. The boundary between student and teacher should be made clear but he can't bring himself to reject her either. Besides, she wasn't in his department so it's really hard to make a solid judgment call.]

[That pout was hard to ignore and it tugged at Gene pretty hard. He kicked himself mentally and turned his head to look at the screen.]

[His breath hitches in his throat. He opens up his office door and peeks out, looking down the hall from the left and right. It wasn't like it was some sort of strange to have students visit but he wasn't too sure about the rules of a student/teacher relationship.

They were only friends, right?]

Well, it's nothing bad. Just...well, *clears throat* it can be misinterpreted as something...you know, I'm over analyzing again. I need some coffee.
