Just like Heaven

Yesterday I got home from my weekend vacation, it was really relaxing. I spent all of the time at my grandmother's lovely home either reading, or swimming with my family at the beach. (Speaking of which, I picked up Burned again, Teal, and finished it pretty quickly. I'll give it back to you as soon as break is done. And if you're reading this, Christine, I'm pretty sure it's your book, so you'll be getting it back soon enough; sorry about the wait.) They have a pretty cool mall up in Melbourne, too. Now that I realize I have a driver's license, and the beach is only like an hour drive away, I want to start going to the beach more often, it feels so natural and refreshing to swim in the salt water.

One of the things I bought while up there was a Cure CD that I've never seen for sale anywhere else..and man, it's so heavenly. I love the Cure.

After I got home last night, and hung out with Anthony, and we played pool. After the years and years of the two of us playing together, and perfecting our skills, I realize I want to, sometime in my life, try and become a professional pool player. I smoke on the pool table, and if I keep playing my whole life as a hobby, I might be able to do it when I'm older. Just for kicks, though.

Today Jon and Fernando came over, and we played our whole set list twice (that's 1 and half hours of straight playing), and worked on tying up loose ends. I've gotten so confident and proud of the band, the only problem now is perfecting our equipment, being able to support everything financially, and annoyingly waiting for the first show (then booking future shows). I really can't describe the irreplacable bliss I get from playing music, especially with the great fellow-musicians that accompany me. I'm so lucky.

I'm gonna get a new job, I'm getting pretty sick of Coldstone. But where to work? Any ideas?

the band, albums, work
