hmm weird weather.. and of course an update!!
In May we had record heat waves, we even had a few days in the high 90's, which was amazing. Now its June and its suppose to be hot and its been hovering around the 80's. I am of course not complaning because I hate it when it gets too hot but still its kinda weird. I of course have still been enjoying the pool.. taking Red to the dog park and taking walks enjoying the cooler weather while I still can.
On different news, things are finally looking up in the financial area. EDD finally reapproved us and they are backpaying us. Fire pay is due anyday which is going to be paying some back bills. So as long as everything comes in on time everything will be okay. So I got my fingers crossed.. that things keep looking up this way.
On another note, Emma Lou will be coming home with us next week. Emma Lou is my sisters adorable and good natured Yorkie.. my sister is going through a few things right now and cant take Emma Lou anymore. I love Emma Lou so when she asked me if I would take her so the kids wouldnt have to completly lose her, I said yes. I just got a few concerns when it comes her adjusting and training.
Next week is the Luah baby shower in my hometown Fortbragg.. I have been planning for a month now.. I was really worried for awhile it wasnt going to happen because of how bad my financial situation had gotten, but fire pay will be here the latest Wednesday (we hope) and so it looks like I wont have to sell everything off to get to the baby shower I planned lol. I am really excited.. I have been craving the beach so I am going to spend half of the day at the beach playing around. The baby shower itself I am trying to make into a fun thing instead of just another baby shower, so we will see how that goes lol.
In school news.. I had to drop my math class to pick it up in a few months because I fell to far behind. I got really sick a couple of weeks ago and missed too many days, I was able to catch up in my other class's but not math. Math has never been my strong suite anyways. Other then that, because of all the stress lately.. I might not be able to pull the top grades I am capable of this semester. I got a 90% on my Microsoft Word midterm though.. so hey thats good atleast!! So wish me lucks, when grades come out!!
