So this morning I drove back from the party, Josh in tow, to shower and go watch my Syntax professor play hockey. (She rocks. Best way to describe her is that she is something like 5'0", plays hockey (she's a wing), the drums (she's in a band), is always grinning and happy, and knows her discipline back and forth. She is awesome.) Our team won, 2-0, though Vivian (a.k.a. Professor Lin) didn't score any goals today. Too bad; we had a great cheer for her all lined up. We'll have to save it for next season, though, as this was the last game.
I came home after lunch with Matt and Greg and decided that I'd take some rest before Vampire tonight. Suddenly, it's 8:20 and Scott is waking me up. Josh has already gone to Vampire and I'm twenty minutes late. Why did Josh leave without me, I ask. The answer: he couldn't find me. My boots, shoes, and other boots were still in the house, and my coat was on the couch. My car was still in the back, but no-one had seen me and I wasn't in the house, so maybe I was somewhere else. Josh claims he even looked in my room, saw my computer chair was empty, and concluded I wasn't in my room. My reputation is upheld, then. No-one even thought to check my bed until Scott heard movement from there.
I'm not sure exactly what to think about this, but it still is pretty damned cool.
P.S. Ian-wp-Zeke: Thank you for mixing me the requested "unholy drink." - you know how to make a rum-and-coke that's actually a rum-and-rum-and-coke-and-rum. I needed that, and thank you. Happy birthday.
