Well, I'm wandering the Internet and LJ because it's only 10:00 here and people aren't getting up this early, I guess. I should take a shower and then go pick my breakfast. (My uncle's got an orange tree. So. Awesome.)
I'll tell you what a weird feeling is; the outside of my right arm is sore. Well, that's not strictly accurate. The heel of my hand, half my forearm, my bicep, and my shoulder are sore on my left, and just my shoulder and bicep on my right. It's weird. But when you jam out for two hours on a drum kit, that's what you're gonna get if you're out of practice. I put my laptop on shuffle and picked a playlist or two. I played all the way through one of my more playable mixes. (I was not going to attempt the Rusted Root, or Take Five, and I had to take the Allman Brothers at half speed. Gah.) Some old favorites were played to the heavens from the shuffle session - Johnny B. Goode, Warren Zevon, and some CCR - and some interesting new things came up as a result of the playlist - Breakfast at Tiffany's, and some Sister Hazel, and then I Believe (in Something) (by Too Much Joy, a wonderful song by a fabulous band), the song I played before taking a break, I rocked the hell out of.
Okay, new agenda: 1) see if I have any more texts to answer. (Sorry to everyone who got a text and didn't know who it was.) 2) take a shower. 3) Grab an orange. 4) If people aren't up yet, jam some more. *grin*
Damn, does it feel good to play again. Y'know, except for the sore muscles. (Is it bad that, even with the music turned all the way up, I think that it's only too loud because of the distortion? Wish I could hear the bassline better...) ^^
