they're in the walls they're in the walls they're in the walls they're in the walls

I now confer upon Pixie the Flaw: Bard's Tongue (2), based on evidence collected tonight:

Exhibit A: Pixie's joke that my cats, scared out of their minds because of the movers and the moving and such, would climb up into the ceiling. We then found the cats. In the ceiling. That was scary. Really scary. Have you ever seen a cat inside a wall or inside a ceiling by flashlight? It's creepy.

Exhibit B: Pixie's admonition - "don't get lost" - before going into her house. Let's just say that I know the area a bit better now. I never got lost, though. I turned the wrong way a few times. My senses of length and duration are not at all accurate. My sense of direction and orientation, however, is almost always absolute.

I also now confer upon her induction into the Tradition of the Virtual Adepts, and the honorary last name of "Kahn." She knows why.

(Serious) Quote Of The Night:
"Thanks for breaking in my cell phone."
[confidential: I hope that conversation upped your happiness level as much as it did mine.]

I won't talk about the move. I'm tired of thinking about the move. It's now incredibly apparent that I won't be in Madison tomorrow as I'd hoped. Oh well... 'tis a shame.
