by the way, i'd strongly encourage that ya'll check the weather report before you drive to the coastal highway. if the car breaks down on you (as $400 cars are wont to do, but KNOCK ON WOOD that doesn't happen), shit could get ugly. just make sure YOU resort to cannibalism first.

and JOE SERIOUSLY, WEEKEND RANDOM ROAD TRIP. can we please get this done sometime in the next few months? there are a bunch of crazy little hill towns around sacramento (& some ghost towns, from what i've heard). i'd love to explore all that shit.
