Later today at 9am, Tristan & Braun will both be visiting the vet, for surgery.
Both of them would be neutered today.
For Tristan, it would be a more complicated procedure as he has 1 undescended testicle.
We are not sure what how would the neutering process change our 2 boys. But I do hope that its all for the better.
For Tristan, we hope that this procedure would bring comfort to him. Why? Tristan is a nervous wreck a lot of times. From his behaviour towards either C or I leaving the venue where he is at, to the way that he reacts to motorcycles, we have had to deal with this since he's been a puppy.
Hopefully, its all due to the undescended testicle. Hopefully, he would become more comfortable after removing the testicle which is stuck up somewhere.
For Braun, he really has nothing wrong. He's the sweetest dog, and we really couldn't ask for a better dog. We do however think that he is rather sexually hyper, and hence, removing the testicles is supposed to make him less sexually driven. The real reason why we are putting him through this process is really to be socially responsible, and not breed any more puppies.
The sad bit though, is that most of the qualities that we have in Braun, would never be found in another puppy! And there will also be no other little baby Brauns' in the future. But this is ok. We really love Braun for who he is right now!! Thank God we have Braun.
I would like to take this opportunity to commit tomorrow's proceedings to God. For Him to see through Tristan's slightly more complicated surgery, as well as to see through Braun's procedure. I pray that God will give divine wisdom, care, and skill to Dr Eugene to perform the perfect procedure on both our dogs.
