Tristan didn't puke last night. At all.
We walked him at midnight. He pooed! My instinct was to look through the poo. We found it. We found the thing that had been plugging up his stomach. It looked like one of the rubber feet that you find at the bottom of metal chair legs.
We breathed easier after this. The test was to see how Tristan would go through the night.
He slept soundly through the night. And kept wanting to drink water.
Every little bit of water we fed him, he slurped it all up. We would then put the dry bowl down again, and he would continue licking.
He IS THIRSTY!
Then we fed him this morning.
He didn't puke.
No bones in his diet yet though. BARF soft diet = small slices of meat + the usual veg mix.
We brought him to Dr Eugene Lin at 10am. Dr Lin rushed out to the car to greet Tristan. We showed him the rubber stopper. It seemed He breathed easier too.
We did 2 more x-rays of him. Same drill, one on the side, and one on the back.
Results: Barium had been processed and moved to the large intestines together with the rest of his stools.
Dr Lin said, " This very rarely happens. Foreign objects don't usually get pooped out" (paraphrased)
We were really reliefed. Dr Lin however decided to leave the cathater in Tristan's leg - just for emergency. We asked if Tristan was out of the woods, Dr Lin went, "80%".
While having breakfast, Dr Lucy Shum called. "I noticed that Tristan didn't go through any operation and that he has been discharged".
I told her "He's all normal now. He pooed out the rubber stopper, and he's started barking at strangers".
She then said (paraphrased), " This very rarely happens! But its great and it saves us lots of trouble. This is great news!"
We are very happy to have Dr Lucy and Dr Eugene.
We are very pleased with ARVC for all their care.
I was praying yesterday "God, I believe that you have healed Tristan. That he will not need surgery, that You would clear the blockage"
God answers prayers.
He more than answered my prayers.
He performed a miracle.
All Glory to Him!
