Hello everyone!
I am sure all of you were all dying in expectations to watch the 77th's Academy Award's nominations, and even more so my review of the event...
Million Dollar Baby... was the only movie that I actually saw that was big at the Oscar and as well as you should know, it was the biggest movie...
Hillary Swank - that gorgeous blue dress wrapping her beautiful, very fit body... I think she was not only the best acress in this year's movie but she was the best dressed on the red carpet... She looked stunning and I really truly discovered her for myself... Her husband seems like such a good man too... I am so very happy she won, because her performance in Million Dollar Baby almost brought tears to my eyes.
Morgan Freeman - he deserved the award simply because he's been around for so long and is such a great actor... however I don't think he was all that amazing in Million Dollar Baby... but again I haven't seen any other movies.
Clint Eastwood - dude is the legend, last year directed Mystic River which was insanely powerful and this year again, the best movie... Props to the man, big props. It was also so touching to see him almost tearing and expressing his sincere joy for everything and everyone who won tonight. There is no doubt he knows all about hard work and dedication in film making and not only. Another thing that melted my heart and I just came out with the "aww" was when he mentioned his 96 (!!!) year old mother. That was so very sweet.
Jamie Foxx aka Eric Bishop - that man deserves everything... He was nominating for supporting actor and the leading actor. How effing often do you see that?? Amazing. Although I haven't seen Ray ( I was sleeping drunk on a bed while my Ilona was watching it next to me on the New Year's), it really appeared as it took so much talent and so much hard work to make that movie. Jamie Foxx looked amazing in it... And with everything he's been through... When I a year ago I thought he was just a comic, another Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence... Then... He comes out and sings in Slow Jamz with Kanye West, then he does COllateral and Ray... Wow, Jamie Foxx... WOW!! And how sweet was it for him to bring his young daughter to the ceremony as his date??!! :-)
PLus... WHAT A SPEECH!!...
Johnny Depp... He was him... THe best Johnny Depp he can be. I love that man. He is so real. So real.
Supporting Actress... Pardon but I fell asleep during that... not very proffessional of me... but please don't judge too hard. I'm a good man. I had a tough day, no sleep, hard work... alright? alright?

Hmm... Leonardo Dicaprio?? Well... I really didn't think Aviator looked all THAT amazing... It won a lot of awards for filmmaking but not the acting or directing... I haven't seen it... and I wouldn't be too excited to...

I think it was a great ceremony, I loved it, so much positivity and goodness. Chris Rock was a very good host, I liked a lot of his jokes and they were very relevant esp. ones about Bush. LoL Go Rock!!
It was so awe stricking and also inspiring seeing all of those people getting rewarded for all the hard work and a hard path from poors to stardom that all of them have walked. There were so many foreigner!! I loved it! Those Italian or French accents... So... Adorable? lol... I just have so much respect for all of those people. It was so nice to see old men starting to tremble and get very nervous during their speeches, plus their accents... I just thought it was so human so natural and beautiful... I loved it.
