another relevation of work and why to not worry: realized two weeks ago
I have been reading a lot of the Old Testament lately. In it people fall into the position they are to have. For instance, Saul was chosen as Israel’s first king, yet he hid in baggage when asked to step forward. He did not seek his path; it was provided for him. Or King David for that matter-he too was chosen king, not through his own means. He even hid his anointment from his family. This has been a comfort to me. God provided a way for them. He provides a way for his people, Moses, Esther, Ruth, Daniel, Jonah. It is consistent and a promise. For that I am thankful. Worrying about work or life after this is needless. There is a way.
