freedom thinkers...? all thinking is a web tangled in history
i have things to say. but im not ready to say them yet.
but the latest disappointment is that i found out martin heidegger was apart of the nazi party. which distresses me because i gravitated towards his philosophy. and as everyone knows, thoughts of people are a communal pool. i.e. everyone, your culture and family and friends, influence what you think and believe. which means, the nazi agenda, even if he wasnt *really* for their beliefs, played a role in shaping his thoughts. and that means, by studying heidegger, i am studying nazism and embracing it. wtf.
teachers should really take that in consideration before they have us study philosophy. which worries me because how many other philosophers were like that? ........
i feel dirty.
also my thesis glorifies the guy... i found this out after i wrote it. Dusty would love this if he found out. ....*reminnisces to high school*
