My first rain day!
I'm usually woken just before my alarm by the temperature in my room. My flat faces north west but still when the sun comes up it warms up quickly here. Today I was woken by my alarm and it didn't seem to be light out. My first guess was I'd set the alarm wrong but that wasn't it. I could hear rain but until I opened my curtains it hadn't occurred to me that that might be delaying the dawn. The roundabout was flooded and I could see three broken down cars and a broken down lorry. I text Molly to say I didn't think she should drive today and let's take the bus. She called to explain that school is off due to the weather! So this must be what the ominously named level 7 looks like. It's like a snow day but you can't go out to play.
