I just wish I could tell everyone who watched it for the first time to go and find it on the Internet ;) There should be a law that you have to warn the viewers you messed with the original content.

The Sci-Fi channel edited the scene of Francine Jones with a gun in "Last of the Time Lords".

You mean cut it? Gee, what's the point in buying rights to a tv series if you mess with it? There should be a law that you have to warn viewers if the content has been edited, I think.

That's a good point you made. I thought it was due to violent content. Although Lucy saves Francine the trouble by shooting the Master instead.

My point is that cutting scenes out that were originally screened the first time, can be distracting when you rewatch that episode. Unless you forgot it.

Cutting automatically makes me think of censorship (and there's been a lot of it in my country, still is on public television). If a scene is too violent to be aired, say, in the afternoon, just change the time, not the content. Or at least say you've done the cuts. It might not seem important if it's just few seconds and nothing political but it's about being honest.
