Deaths in Doctor Who by 0thatguy and my comments

I love numbers, charts and tables - and I'm delighted to see I'm not the only Doctor Who fan who does it. 0thatguy has counted onscreen and offscreen deaths in Doctor Who, and gives us some interesting results.

I remember Moffat realised he may have to "kill" more characters once he became showrunner.

RTD didn't realise he tends to get rid of people until someone pointed it out.

And apparently decided not to do this ;)

I heard it was Moffat who pointed it out :D

My memory ain't the best.:)

Yeah. In "The Forest Of The Dead" Commentary.

Although Moffat did the repetitive "death" thing which made me wonder if he would actually kill Clara off.

You must love spreadsheets.:)

He can kill a character, he just can't resist bringing them back ;)

I'm happy about Clara's ending. I thought I liked her being killed but actually, it's not the fate I'd like for companions. Moffat has started a new thing with a companion able to travel in space on his own, not trapped on Earth.

With interesting data to analyse, spreadsheets are fun ;)

(my favourite; I'm a masochist) season 4.
Depends on if you liked those killed... If not, you're a sadist. ;)

A scientific explanation of why Ten is the best Doctor ;)
*snicker* I bet you wouldn't know otherwise...

It's good to know science is on our side, though ;)

They are. It must have taken some time to collect all the data and I think the work is worth spreading. The more discussion, the better.
