It's a H/D story told from Draco's POV and very much delves into the intricacies of the Slytherin life as well as picking up on the OotP idea of school unity and exploring the relationships between all of the houses. It also explores the tension between the purebloods and the rest of the Wizarding World, and takes a good look at homophobia and how that might work in pureblood circles. Because it's a POV piece, it fleshes out a lot of the more 'antagonistic' characters and makes them much more than just 'evil'. Relationships on all levels are considered.
She's also got a follow-up planned, which is the same story from Harry's POV. I'm sure she'd be happy to talk to you about that - especially with regards to your focus on the 'reliable/unreliable narrator' - even though it's not written yet.
The fic is canon-tight and generally considered one of the most in-character Dracos you'll read. The depth of detail gives you a lot to look at and I definately think this fic can be considered as a critical and analytical exploration of the HP world.
