Novel Writin' and Kung Fu Fightin'
So, ladies and gentlemen, I've finally decided to kick my own ass into gear. I vow by the end of this year to have at least one of my manuscripts (rough drafts) done. I have figured out two of my main issues.
1. I am a lazy fuck. D:
2. I tend to get wrapped up in one project then lose interest in it when something else pops into my head. To combat this, I have decided to write not one book at a time, but multiple. I will plan each novel out, then go back to those notes as I progress with each book. Hopefully, by writing multiple projects at once, I will not lose the drive on any of them as I have previously.
God, I hope this works out. My ultimate goal is to be published by the end of 2012, but that is also a pipe dream that may or may not happen. Getting fantasy and sci-fi published is difficult, and even more so for a woman (from what I have heard/read). I might have to take the route so many before me have and write under a different name (Like K.L. Adams or just K. Adams) to make my name sound more manly/less female. D:
Oh, well. Whatever it takes, right?

*Untitled Steampunk/ Fantasy Series*
-The Life and Time of Viktoria Bitterwurst: Woman, Scientist, Elf
-Tales from the Red Sword Tavern
-The Man with the Clockwork Wings
*Stand Alone Novels*
-The City Upon Styx
-A Butterfly or a Man (or) Dreams of Dust
-The Art of Prostitution
*Projects with Kuo*
-Untitled series with Rumarus, Salomon, Thomas, Ally, Pellenore/Pellam, etc.
I'll probably keep a journal on here when I can. Updates, really, on how things are going in this aspect of my life. Mostly to keep myself sane and organized, lol. <3
Words of advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, please excuse any spelling mistakes from here on out. I'm using a very old computer, and it doesn't support Firefox's spellcheck feature. *sadface*
