Well, Thanksgiving supper with Dad was wonderful. The food was really tasty and I didn't have to work hard at all. Now, I'm going to have Thanksgiving with my aunt and her family :).
I wasn't planning to go anywhere for Black Friday. I have everyone's presents done and most are already shipped even. As I said, that WAS the plan. I got a call from Dad, who is one call this weekend, asking me to go to "big city" to pick him up one of the door buster specials at Target. I decided that I was not going to get up that morning to drive the 1.5hrs to go to the nearest town that has a Target, so I'm going to spend Thursday night.
I also feel very accomplished. I figured out how to get pics and music from my computer onto my Blackberry. The problem is that I can't figure out how use my ITunes music. Now, I have to find some sort of application that allows be to sync word processor files and such to it.
The last thing I need to share is a conversation I overheard at a restaurant tonight. I woman was eating out with her mother and her mother's friend. The friend was talking about how she would go out to one of the grocery stores and get a special pastry and ice cream once a week. The daughter started going off about the cholesterol in that and the health issues from eating things like that. The friend responded that she was 84 years old, and could probably stand eating that. What got me was about 20 minutes later, the daughter, who was making the fuss about an 84 year old eating a pastry a week, went outside to SMOKE! Hmm. Which is the worst habit????
