I think this French Comparison Culture class will be a constant flip flop for me. At times during lecture I find myself being utterly fascinated about the American culture and other cultures elsewhere. Lately I've found myself participating in class discussions more (instead of my initial "er- um..I don't know" approach) and I start getting really excited about being interested in something.
But then he assigns the homework for the day. And it is usually something like..."read these two [huge ass] articles and answer these 12 short essay questions. *pause* And then answer these two questions (one 1-2 page essay for each, citing examples from a news article, personal experience and a tv show or other media). *pause* Oh, and for number 8 on those short essays? I'm gonna need a powerpoint presentation using news articles, interviews with other people and various media. Andddddd.... this is due next class."
And then I'm like WHAT. I HATE THIS FUCKING CLASS SO MUCH ALSKDJSKDJ.
