Back from Torpor
First off, I want to wish everyone on my FL a Happy New year (I know I'm late.. but I mean well!). I hope everyone is in for a prosperous and bitchin New year where your darkest and no so darkest desires come to fruitation.2006 is over and 2007 is a clean slate where new memories and new adventure await a willing mind and body.
Secondly, I noticed that LJ got a facelift - and it wasn't butchered like Joan Collins or Michael Jackson *pets LJ*, you're pretty. Yeah, I'm a nerd who likes web design...so what.
Now onto my post... I've been good, really good actually. I find fullfilment in my new position at my job, even though corporate now owns my soul. With my new position, I'm not as stressed, I'm working less and I'm making more money - how great is that? I have never been this rested and refreshed in my life. My boss or Uberboss is turning out to be cooler than I could have ever imagined as well.
I found out a dark secret about uberboss; he's a gamer - that's right! Uberboss is a gamer! I was utterly shocked into a speechless mumble when I had found out that he nerded it up on the weekend. Uberboss had previously convinced me (by his actions) that he was evil, and quite possibly a demon.He often marched through the office crushing the souls of his employees with his Italian loafers or so I had thought.I found out that I had greatly misjudged Uberboss. He wasn't the tyranical office terror I had thought he once was. Uberboss wasn't such a bad guy after all. It turned out that he cared about his employees, but if you lost his favor - you were toast. Uberboss had took an unnatural shine to me when I had discovered his secret. He even dragged me into an online game called counterstrike, where we either battle terrorism or spread the seed of chaos; I'm quite enjoying the experience.
