Time Compression.

Wow, it feels weird posting here. The only times I ever visit this site anymore is when somebody says "... and I went into greater detail about the incident on my LJ" or something. Remember when there was only LJ, before MySpace and Facebook came around? The internet may not be very old in the grand scheme of things, but there sure are plenty of changes that make one feel like a reminiscent old-timer...

Okay, a life update. I traded my car in waaaay back in March and have been going car-less since. It's pretty lame, but I live right next to work and various sources of entertainment, so getting by has been pretty easy. It is extremely emasculating, though, since I have just in recent days regained the desire for a steady girlfriend. And one can't do much in terms of picking someone up and going somewhere without transportation, and I am the type of guy who will honestly stress over someone's gas money if they have to drive me two miles. Makes me feel like a total bum. And I think most women have outgrown the concept of "happy saturday" relationships of the car-less highschool days. I will get my scooter eventually, maybe another month without financial setbacks and I shoukd be in the green for one.

I will also be going back to school in the coming spring, as I think the chaos in my life has settled down enough to go for it. Time is just going by way too fast as well, and it is high time I end this hiatus. I am still working the 7-Eleven and occasionally the costume shop. I just finished helping a friend out with the infamous Cloud in a Dress costume, and damn if he isn't convincing! XD. I am also taking on the most horrifically difficult costume in the world for myself: Emperor Mateus. Pounds of resin and a highly modified wig will be needed, but I am determined to wear this thing to a con. I would promise pics, but I always forget to deliver when I do.

That's.... Pretty much all I have to say for myself since January. Each year just keeps going faster and faster. If only we could compress them all into a singularity? Okay, I'll shut up and get back to playing FFVIII.
