Day 14 - If I Won the Lottery
wow. If I won the lottery? Well, I'd have to play first, but let's indulge the fantasy, shall we?
If I won a million dollars:
1. Pay off Student loans and finish my Master's probably try for PhD. ($150,000)
2. Pay off car (maybe get a different one, because I'm having buyers remorse for this little Mazda. *sadface*) (45,000 for both)
3. Buy a house and furnish it. (nothing too fancy. I can get a good one here in Ocala for around $80,000)
4. Pay my dad's mortgage off, so he can not have to worry about that any more. (20,000)
5. Set up a college fund for my nephew. (40,000)
6. Pay for my brother's divorce (if he doesn't manage to get it paid for by himself). (2,000)
7. Invest in real estate and become a landlord, part and parcel of that is to set up escrow so I can have funds to make repairs on properties as the need arises.) (400,000)
8. Invest the remaining 300,000.
Yup. We're talking fiscally responsible stuff here. I might consider getting my mom a small place where she can be happy too. Depends on what she wants...
And of course, the glue that holds this all together: If I win the lottery.
