Day 7 My pet hates
Not sure what this means. I'm going with pet peeves. Things that piss me right the way off.
I'll do five.
1. Mixed up homophones in FB posts. No. Really. Watching my former students use 'your' for you are, and 'there' for their and vice versa, makes me insane. Grrr.
2. Texting while driving. Seriously. Your words are not that important that you absolutely NEED to text them out doing 60 MPH down the highway. maybe when you kill someone, it'll sink into your head that you are not that goddamned special that you can do two cognitive tasks at the same time.
3. Screaming children in restaurants. Don't you know your kid is someone else's peaceful evening? What makes you and your family so freaking special that you should ruin someone else's meal because you can't keep your child quiet? Ugh. Take him outside. Do some ACTUAL parenting.
4. People who beat their animals. Just. ugh. If you can't train them, surrender them, don't beat them. Bastards.
5. People who stop dead to turn right off a main thoroughfare. If you can't drive it, park it. There is no need to stop dead on the thoroughfare in order to turn into a business.
Oh. and on that note, I could actually go take a short nap.
