New to me music
I mentioned that one of my students introduced me to the Zac Brown Band through their cover of Ray LaMontagne's Jolene. *sigh* Have now been on Amazon, and oh. my. god. these guys... I really didn't like 'Chicken Fried,' the song that sort of put them on the map, really. But it's one of their anomoly songs. That one is not indicative of the type of music they actually do for the rest of their albums. Kind of like, Old Time Rock and Roll is NOTHING like the rest of Bob Seger's catalog...
So. Yeah. I"m going to be saving to get all of their music. oh yes. There is only one artist in my music catalog that I have everything he's released (Steve Carlson, I'm talking about you), but I can see myself purchasing all of these guys' stuff. Whew.
