Cpt. Montgomery?!?! the third cop? kidnapping mobsters and drug dealers? And Lockwood... I cheered when he died. Montgomery shot him dead dead deadski!
Ryan and Esposito. Esposito's reaction to finding out about Montgomery...and Ryan just...OMG. I cried. SO WELL DONE! The acting, the writing, the scene was just...wow! Their faces!! The pain in their voices...I just...wow.
But the end. Oh. the funeral.. the eulogy. "There are never victories. Just the battles. The best you can do is find a place to make a stand. And if you're lucky, you find someone to stand with you."
Montgomery made Kate his redemption, and ultimately failed. Did Kate make Rick her redemption? I think the parallels are there, and yeah. Now, she's....OMG. I can't even type it!!!
But Rick told her he loved her! I just...wow. I haven't watched a finale that moved me this much, probably since Not Fade Away....

Loved it. Hines' Argentine Tango was BEAUTIFUL. Right up there with Maks and Erin's from two seasons ago. Well done, Hines.
