Developed a love of this one from listening to my brother play it all the time when we were kids. You'd think speed metal bands would be just a bunch of angry young dudes screaming, but Dave Mustaine is freakin' smart, too. This is a cautionary tale about what we're doing to the planet and how we keep effin' up stuff. Love this song.
2. Come to Me - Brad Fiedel
The love song from Fright Night. As much as I love vampires, I had to have this one.
3. Color Green, The - Rich Mullins
this is a liturgical song about this beautiful world we live in and how God created it to be beautiful and lush and perfect. I love this song. when I hate the world, this is what I listen to.
4. Closer to You - Dennis Quaid
OMG. This is one of the sexiest songs I have ever heard. It's from "The Big Easy" and yes, you read that right, Dennis Quaid is singing it. All raspy and rough, and dripping with sexiness. Such a hot, hot song.
5. Chloe Bowed Her Head - Steve Carlson
If you know anything about me, you know a Steve song is going to make it on here. Chloe bowed her head is all about having a good time. It's just mellow and cool, and free enough.
