What a lovely breath of fresh air. I may yet learn to love the telephone, as long as it's mediated by a computer. Chuckle.
Christmas was actually sort of enjoyable. I still can't say, all things being equal, if I would have preferred to just sit the whole thing out, but that was never a real choice anyway. I think it helped that everything was on a schedule, since my sister was giving rides, and I never felt trapped in a mopey situation. And driving with my sister is, to criminally understate, a potent distraction.
lüt: two books about treehouses, a half-day class of sea kayaking, a wool hoody from my sister that I actually love, a blender (smoothie time), and $75 worth of hot MEC action. Not a bad haul. Got Cayleigh the
Album, probably the first time in my life I've known what would be a perfect gift for her. A hand-knit scarf (in progress) for Mom, and a ski helmet for pops.
Oof. Company and co-op renovations tomorrow. This place needs a serious scrub.
