My gut tells me this is probably old news to a few readers, but still facinating as hell:
Carl Malamud wants a permanent, public, high-resolution online archive of all congressional proceedings, on the floor and in committee. This seems like a no-brainer for democracy and government transparency, and it sort of surprises me that this is only just now happening.
