Christening
Sunday is known to be the Lord's day and today was really all about "the man upstairs" as I went to church twice today: once was for 12 noon mass and the other was for a christening held by friends of my parents.
A lot of photographs were being taken when the baby was being baptized and it was remarkably a joyous occasion and right after that little business was being taken care of, we and the rest of the guests attending went over to the Cameo which is a dining restaurant that had caterers serving us different types of food.
Before we ate, Father Thomas said grace to welcome the new baby boy into the life of God and then for the rest of the day we all helped ourselves to Penne, chicken, meatballs, green beans, rolls, salad, eggplant, and mashed potatoes. I didn't have all of that but that was the food that was being served.
The cake for dessert wasn't so bad either as I found it to be a tasteful sponge cake plus cookies on the side as well.
Now tomorrow is the second to last full day of school which will lead into the last full day on Tuesday and then half days start once again right until Graduation!
I'm now getting real excited about this coming and I sure can't wait to party once high school is finished for good.
