Seeing Catwoman

Aug 02, 2004 20:15

Today was finally the day that I was going to see "Catwoman" with Matt and we hoped that it was not going to be a repeat of Friday.

Turned out that when I got dropped off at the movie theater at 10 after 4 that afternoon, Matt was already there and told me he waited for me until he was there at 4 PM. He also mentioned that he got his ticket already and all I had to do was get mine. So far that was a sign that "Catwoman" was still playing.

After when we were directed to go to the section the movie was playing, we sat at the seats from the front and waited to see the previews to come up. There was a family of five boys with their mom and dad in back of us that got a little annoying for Matt so we decided to move to the other side.

It was much better there so Matt could talk about more stuff that he likes to talk about until it was 4:15 the time the movie played but after 5 minutes of still a blank screen and music being played from the oldies station, we checked to see if we were in the right movie house.

When we got back, we heard the music for the "In Case Of An Emergency" reminder and we found out the movie was beginning shortly.

One of the great previews that I saw was "Taxi" starring Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah that will be coming out this fall. To me, it's a combination of "The Tuxedo" and "The Fast and The Furious" and I can't wait to see it when it comes out. "Blade Trinity" and "Exorcist: The Beginning" were two other previews that Matt was interested in seeing in and I felt the same like him.

"Catwoman" was a very cool movie and involved a lot of great special effects and those moves Patience (Halle Berry's character) did when she had the powers of becoming Catwoman were unbelievable. The movie also involved Alex Borestein who was a former cast star on "MADTv" and does the voice of Lois Griffin on "Family Guy". I thought she was funny in that movie.

By the time I got home, it was quarter to 7 so I ate dinner and watched the rest of "The Simpsons" that had the episode "Helter Shelter". I'm glad that I missed the first 15 minutes of it because I really don't like that episode a whole lot.

"The Great Louse Detective" at 7 PM was funnier especially when Sideshow Bob always got shocked when he was being suspected of looking at Bart funny as if he wanted to kill him. I believe I have ranked that episode as #2 as part of the top 50 Simpsons episodes that are the funniest that is a list in a notebook I bought in Ireland a year ago.
